A weekend workshop for those who want to explore the topics of yoga, death and dying more deeply. Just as new life is assisted into being at birth, we believe that the same assistance, preparation and care should be available as people approach and pass through their death. Everyone should know that their departure from this life can be a natural, acceptable and peaceful transition.
By increasing your understanding and acceptance of death, it literally contributes to your good health and ability to live life more fully. In this workshop we practice letting go of mental activity, and the attachment to the belief that we are our bodies. We also practice techniques that can be shared with others including those near death.

Discussion includes yogic philosophy, suggestions for how to be around someone who is dying and ways you can gift them, and what is involved in the dying experience. Also, in the course of this workshop you will experience a deeply rejuvenating Savasana, and there will be a guided meditation on the practice of letting go.
The workshop is sprinkled with stories about people and their dying process, and there is also opportunity to share your own stories if you want.
